Transport to Gwaii Haanas - Water Taxi
Because of the vast size of the Gwaii Haanas area, most kayakers choose to get dropped off and/or picked up by our high-speed Zodiacs allowing you to maximize your paddling time.

Gear & Kayaks Rental
We rent high-quality single and double fibreglass sea kayaks. We also rent and sell essential paddling and outdoor equipment. The minimum rental time is one week.

Kayaking in and around
Gwaii Haanas, Haida Gwaii
Gwaii Haanas encompasses the southern portion of the islands of Haida Gwaii. This remote area is an ideal kayaking destination: a place where you can go days without seeing another person, explore untouched shorelines each day and take your pick of pristine beaches to camp on at night. Gwaii Haanas also offers the chance to learn about the Haida First Nations culture and see awe-inspiring poles standing in ancient village sites.
However, keep in mind that the area is considered an advanced paddling destination. If you do not have previous experience, you should consider taking a guided tour offered by several excellent kayak tour companies we have listed on our We Love Local page.
